Carn Liath broch and Ben Bhraggie - image 1117
Just three miles south of Brora is the Carn Liath Broch,
with good parking and easy access close by. Much of the
original ground level structure is still in good repair and
there is even a small chamber built into the stone wall by
the entrance.
Archaeologists have found holes in the floor for wooden
posts which suggests there was an internal structure and
probably even a roof.

From the car park there is a footpath to the right of the photograph which
crosses the main road and leads down to the
broch.
